I heard my dear old friend Susie Lonie of Vodafone speaking at the Economist Digital Money conference in London where I also presented a week ago. Susie discussed Vodafone's M-Pesa service in Africa. Today Vodafone has announced the partnership with Western Union to allow cash to be moved between UK and Kenya using the two networks. So a UK user can go to a Western Union shop, and send money to Kenya, which a Kenyan friend can receive on their mobile phone using the M-Pesa account. Pretty nice.

I feel like time is going incredibly fast and slow at the same time. The weeks/months seem to be crawling...but at the same time, I turn around on Monday and suddenly it is Sunday again
